Christophal Hellewell is a south Florida attorney who is passionate about providing client centered real estate services. In May 2014, Mr. Hellewell graduated from the Robert Traurig – Greenberg Traurig LL.M. Program in Real Property Development at the University of Miami School of Law. The LL.M. Program provided him with an understanding of land acquisition, finance, environmental regulation, condominium law, construction law, residential and commercial development, landlord tenant law, closings, negotiation, planning strategies and drafting techniques. While attending the LL.M. Program, Mr. Hellewell also clerked in the real estate division of one South Florida’s largest law firms. Mr. Hellewell was a commercial real estate associate in Tampa, Florida, from 2006 through 2008, where he represented commercial landlords and tenants, developers and investors. He received his bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Real Estate from Florida State University in 2010 and graduated from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center in 2013. While in law school, Mr. Hellewell was the president of the Real Property, Property, Probate and Trust Law Society from 2011 through 2013. Mr. Hellewell also clerked for the Office of the Attorney General’s Economics Crime Division in Broward County, Florida, and in the real estate finance division of a boutique law firm in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He received the Pro Bono Honors award for his clerkship with the Office of the Attorney General and received the CALI High Grade Award in Real Estate Transactions, Condominium Law and the Caribbean Law Seminar. Mr. Hellewell is a member of the Florida Bar and a licensed Real Estate Sales Associate. His legal experience includes, researching complex real estate matters, drafting and reviewing entity formation documents, commercial financing documents and performing due diligence for commercial real estate acquisitions.
